A good meal; we had a roasted beef stew (gardianne) and Camembert cheese, and we weren't disappointed.
The portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied.
The only slight drawback is the menu itself, which is admittedly a bit kitschy.
The servers were very welcoming.
One last essential point: the reasonable prices, which is a welcome change these days.

Second visit during my stay. The welcome was, as always, warm, smiling, and enthusiastic. Good value for money for local cuisine (it was a personal choice). My first meal was on the owner's recommendation. I wasn't disappointed; the bull sausage was excellent. I'll be back.

Honestly, I don't understand why this restaurant has such low ratings... We received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The only thing I would have liked was the brandade, which is one of my favorite dishes, with a slightly less creamy sauce and more of a focus on the fish (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but otherwise we loved everything, with a special mention for the floating island. Finally, its central location in the bustling market square, the atmosphere, and the fact that it's quite addictive mean we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Nîmes.

Very friendly welcome, smiling waiters who were attentive to their customers, great atmosphere, especially with Fanny. It's not fine dining, but the value for money is excellent, and at least here they cook things properly. The toro sausage was delicious, but the ice cream sundae was divine. Thank you to the team! I highly recommend it.
