Honestly, I don't understand why this restaurant has such low ratings... We received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The only thing I would have liked was the brandade, which is one of my favorite dishes, with a slightly less creamy sauce and more of a focus on the fish (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but otherwise we loved everything, with a special mention for the floating island. Finally, its central location in the bustling market square, the atmosphere, and the fact that it's quite addictive mean we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Nîmes.

Very friendly welcome, smiling waiters who were attentive to their customers, great atmosphere, especially with Fanny. It's not fine dining, but the value for money is excellent, and at least here they cook things properly. The toro sausage was delicious, but the ice cream sundae was divine. Thank you to the team! I highly recommend it.

A very warm and friendly welcome. The staff were very pleasant. Excellent value for money. €20.90 for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert). Delicious dishes, nothing to complain about. Located on a pleasant little square behind the arena.

Perfect. A leisurely stroll through old Nîmes led us to this charming brasserie. A few set menus and traditional dishes (meat, fish, etc.), a few desserts... A simple yet effective menu. Very reasonable prices, well-prepared food, and a warm welcome. What more could you ask for? A very pleasant stop. Highly recommended. 😊

03/05/2026: A very good restaurant with very pleasant staff and affordable prices. I recommend it. The only two things I could potentially mention are that the service was a little slow, but that's normal since it was the busy period, so I won't dwell on it. The second thing is that I found the tables a bit close together, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have strollers, for example, unless you're seated at the edge of the restaurant so as not to obstruct the service or other customers.
02/05/2026: Relatively good for improvement. Very busy service. Well-made food and exquisite presentation. Popular atmosphere with terrace. A good experience. Although we were a bit in a hurry.
