We stayed at the nearby campsite and had dinner at the only restaurant in the village. The food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. However, be careful if you have an aperitif: there is no drinks menu, which makes the bill surprising. A pastis for 8 euros and a pint of Pelforth for 10 euros, it's quite expensive... It's the first time I've paid so much for a pastis! I understand the need for small businesses to operate well, but this lacks transparency. I should have been careful, but for me, a pastis generally doesn't cost more than 4 or 5 euros. So I leave this restaurant a little disappointed, because this lack of transparency on prices leaves me with a bitter taste. As far as I'm concerned, I won't come back on principle. I won't be a pigeon a second time.
108 euros for a plate of sauerkraut, a pizza and a Milanese escalope and a tiramisu... 26 euros of wine and 18 euros of an aperitif... 😅 Ouch, I'm in pain
Even if everything was good, it is not a gourmet restaurant either and that leaves a bitter taste in the experience which initially was very positive.
Don't hesitate to enter.
We had dinner for 2 on the terrace, a Parisian grill (top meat) with real, super good homemade fries and a four-season pizza with a thin crispy crust and very fresh toppings (a must)
We recommend 100%.
We really can't relate to the bad reviews given. A small authentic French restaurant with a friendly owner. Our guess is that he does not speak English which can cause some frustration, but with our limited French we got a lovely meal, simple but delicious.
