It's a good bistro, ideally located opposite the Maison Lafgitte racecourse. Very quiet, lovely terrace. A pleasant place to be. Exceptional value for money.

The main advantage of Le Pur Sang is undoubtedly its value for money: €23 at lunchtime for a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, featuring traditional, homemade, simple, and delicious French cuisine accompanied by a good traditional baguette. The restaurant has recently also opened on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €29. For a touch of nostalgia, the building and atmosphere evoke restaurants from the 1960s to 1980s. The large, shaded terrace under the trees is particularly pleasant when the weather is fine. Here are some of the dishes that are offered on a rotating basis: Starters: Terrine, eggs mayonnaise, tomato and mozzarella salad, herring with potatoes in oil. Main Courses: Hang steak with shallots, andouillette sausage, lasagna, calf's head with gribiche sauce, roast chicken. Sauerkraut, fish with beurre blanc sauce Desserts: Chocolate fondant, floating island, fruit tarts, ice cream, cheeses. Everything is simple, generous, and delicious. Please note: The restaurant is sometimes a victim of its own success, serving over 100 covers on some days, which can lead to a wait during peak hours.

I came for lunch with friends today. The food was simple, traditional, and very good...kudos to the chefs! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Plus, we had lunch on the terrace. It was very pleasant. We will definitely be back.

I've been walking past this unassuming establishment for several months now, but I like to form my own opinion, and as they say, you should never judge a book by its cover! What a wonderful discovery! The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a starter, a main course, and a dessert for a price and quality that are unbeatable, and some restaurants should take note. The food is homemade, simple, but delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates fresh ingredients.
