An unpretentious village restaurant with a pleasant terrace, very good value for money, and friendly service.

Finally, a restaurant that breaks away from the ordinary, the sterile, and the predictable! What a wonderful discovery! Homemade cuisine using local products, cooked over a brazier, a particularly enjoyable Burgundy wine (the Chitry, a truly delicious wine. The only slight drawback: the wine lacked a bit of the freshness of a cellar), friendly, pleasant service on the quiet terrace. A great recommendation for those who want to discover local fare, Burgundian warmth, and get off the beaten path.

Nice restaurant. Ideal location, although parking is difficult. Service was a bit slow (especially for two young children...). Decent food, relaxed atmosphere. I recommend this place.

On our way to Marseille, my wife, our son, and I stopped at the Restaurant de la Rivière, which we'd found after searching online. The place certainly lived up to the saying, "it's worth the detour." We found the establishment pleasant and welcoming, located on a small village square with convenient parking. Arriving around 8:00 pm on the eve of May Day, we received a warm welcome. We dined on the terrace. The atmosphere was lovely, the clientele a friendly mix of regulars and generations, the service cordial and attentive, and the homemade cuisine delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, served by a passionate chef who took the time to chat with his customers. Everything was perfect for the three of us to have a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The restaurant has a lovely terrace for drinks, and the owner is very attentive and gracious; he even opened his parasol for us to protect us from the rain. I highly recommend it.
