Don't change the waitresses!! It's so nice to have waitresses who love their jobs; they're smiling and attentive, and we felt so comfortable!! As for the food, what a delight! The cervelas salad appetizer was just perfect, and the main course, a ham hock with Munster sauce, was magnificent, typically Alsatian, with a homemade sauce—a real treat! And I'm not usually a fan of fried carp, but it was delicious! The fried carp wasn't dry, it was tender with seeds—don't change a thing!! We'll be back with great pleasure.

Excellent restaurant! The servers and staff are very friendly; you feel welcome and they make you feel at ease. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is perfect and full of flavor. I love going there; it's the best restaurant in the area! 👍

What a wonderful discovery on the way back from a hike on Petit Ballon 😊! A little restaurant just the way we like them. The owner is bubbly and welcomes you like the many regulars from the area. It's almost like being at home... 😉 The food is excellent, and the Gewurztraminer is one of the best this year... 🍾 The dishes are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat 😋 We had a wonderful time in this great little restaurant. I should also mention that we were the last ones to be served and no one pressured us to understand that service was over (something that's becoming rare in French cuisine these days). Everything is a matter of taste, but for me, the calf's head I ate here was one of the best I've ever had in my culinary experience as a former truck driver. A huge thank you to the whole team for this wonderful time. See you soon! 😊👍 Returning on January 18, 2026, we arrived and found a banquet taking place (no mention of this was made when we booked). We push open the door and the owner jumps on us, very stressed. We learn that we're eating in the wine cellar... great! 👌 Why not, a wine cellar is always romantic. We go downstairs and, surprise, another banquet... 🥺 It's chilly and very noisy. The quality of the food is still excellent, but honestly, we just had bad luck. So we'll go back, but in the future, during the week.

Wonderful experience. The meal was excellent, and the fried carp specialty was surprisingly light and delicious. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. Thank you for the special care you took of our little girl, and thank you to the chef. We look forward to returning.

For the past 15 years, my favorite dish at Le Caveau has been the fried carp: Gabylou... Of course, there are other dishes on the menu. Christophe is super friendly and his cooking is delicious: Go there!

Les terrasses

01/06/2025: Magnificent location, beautiful terraces, green surroundings, and a landscape enhanced by the small pond facing the terraces. A truly sublime setting. Service was decent, friendly, and cheerful. As for the food, it was a total disappointment. Menu at €60 and nothing more. Bland starter despite the attention paid to presentation. Rossini was good quality, but disappointed with the sauce without any particular flavor, served with fries and salad. It's a shame it wasn't served with vegetables, because putting salad on a hot plate cooks it twice as fast. Assortment of cheeses was decent, simple. Dessert was a total disappointment; the presentation and taste were lacking. Coffee was flavorless, almost translucent once served. It looked like it was topped up with water or filter coffee. We came to discover it, but it's a shame the food doesn't match the restaurant's service, which is in a magnificent setting.
20/05/2025: Top. On the other hand, I had specified birthday when booking but I didn't get the flickering candle.
