My partner and I had lunch there yesterday and had a wonderful time! The place is lovely, with a beautiful shaded terrace overlooking the Yonne River, where you can eat without being crowded by other customers, and with a pretty view. The owner is very friendly, the place is authentic, the food is good, the wines are good, and the value for money is excellent. We'll be back!

On our way to Orléans, off the main road, we stumbled upon this authentic restaurant. Dining was only available on the terrace, and there was one table without chairs that was still "free." Two chairs were quickly conjured up, and the menu was presented to us: three courses, with four variations of each course to choose from, all for €38. I had sautéed lamb with fresh vegetables and mushrooms for my main course. Excellent. The entrée and dessert rounded off the meal perfectly. A Chablis was recommended as an accompaniment—a very fine wine. In short: very good food, direct and genuine service in a beautiful location.

Delicious cuisine, made with fresh, local produce... at a very affordable price, in a beautiful setting... a real treat!
