The food was okay, nothing special. I ordered spaetzle with Munster cheese sauce, but there was very little sauce, and it was quite bland. The salad that came with it was inedible because it was far too bitter. The waitress was awful; we had to call her over after 20 minutes to take our order, which she didn't appreciate. She took a dislike to us and deliberately took forever to serve us. I'm still waiting for my glass of wine. I think this person only tolerates regulars... So, if you're from the countryside (not from Alsace), steer clear. There are plenty of other good places in the area, but unfortunately, they were full.
This is the second time we've stayed here and in their guest room. The welcome was superb and warm, the place was very clean, and the breakfast and menu offered local and typical cuisine. I highly recommend it; a truly wonderful place to stay.
