Excellent inn with an exceptional restaurant

A delicious meal for my 60th birthday. Everything was perfect: the service, the fresh ingredients... thank you to the chef and his team 😋

The downsides: the room. A noisy plumbing problem with the toilet in room 15 kept me awake for a good part of the night. The shower head and faucet both produced more air than water, to an extent I've never seen before. It wasn't pleasant. A room facing the village's main street, which is very busy, should be avoided. The upsides: I have rarely experienced such high-quality service. The waiter in the evening was incredibly professional, as was the apprentice the following morning at breakfast. The inn is charming, and the manager is very friendly. Dinner was excellent, both for its originality and the quality of the ingredients. Clearly, the price of dinner is not high enough. In short, I will return when I am traveling in this area because the value for money is excellent.

I was staying in a hotel for an overnight stay. The meal was excellent, but the room was really outdated and the bathroom was more than basic (shower curtain, hot water took forever to arrive, etc.). In short, a mixed experience!

We ate there for Valentine's Day, a set menu at €80 per person, excluding drinks. The staff was helpful, and the food was very good. However, for the occasion and the price of the menu, no effort was made with the decorations, as you can see from the photos. Rose petals and new candles (perhaps red ones) would have been welcome instead of the two or three leaves picked from the backyard and a half-burned candle. That's why I'm giving it a 3-star rating.

The food and service were of exceptional quality. The menu was simply perfect. The cuisine was exquisitely refined and executed to perfection. The atmosphere in the dining room was warm and the welcome impeccable. A truly excellent restaurant, highly recommended!

We came to the restaurant for New Year's Day. The meal was a set menu, but it was very varied and of excellent quality. I hadn't been to this restaurant before, but I certainly didn't regret it. The service was efficient and perfectly paced. I appreciated it all the more because I'm still struggling to get over the disastrous experiences (price and quality) I had in Paris and then London. This confirms that the best restaurants are often found outside of Paris.
