Auberge Chez Suzon sur Garein

What a wonderful discovery Chez Suzon was! On a weekday at lunchtime, we ordered an excellent and generous chicken stew, served quickly in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The stuffing was a real treat. We regretted not being hungry enough to order the set menu. This inn is well worth a visit, not only for the food but also for the warm welcome.

A typical Landes-style inn with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere! Excellent home-style cooking, with a different menu each day of the week. Very good value for money. No frills!

Well, we couldn't eat because they closed at 1:30 pm, even though Google says it's open until 3 pm, so we missed out, it looked really good.

We stumbled upon this inn by chance on our way to our holiday destination. What a wonderful discovery! The manager was welcoming and attentive to her guests. As for the food, the chef offered us a daily menu that he clearly masters, using high-quality ingredients. A divine menu for the price of a McDonald's meal! This place is well worth a visit. Traveling between Pau and Bordeaux, trying to avoid tolls, my two friends and I found ourselves quite unprepared when the cold wind arrived. It was almost 2 p.m. when we pushed open the door, on a completely ordinary Wednesday, fearing in advance that the kitchen might have already closed. We were welcomed nonetheless, with a smile, and were able to enjoy an excellent set menu with perfectly cooked meat and exquisite homemade fries. Thank you so much! We're back on the road!
