Auberge de Boffres sur Boffres

I was in charge of finding a restaurant for our annual weekend getaway with friends, and I chose this inn. I'd seen a report about it on France 3, which had really piqued my interest. There were eight of us, and we all agreed! A lovely inn with a fantastic team offering a minimalist menu, but the dishes are beautiful, colorful, and delicious! I was very happy with my meal at this lovely, simple, and friendly establishment. The food is delicious and the waitress was fantastic! I highly recommend it! 🤗

A simple but refined cuisine where the flavors and colors will delight you. I really liked the small Ardèche wine where the taste of the grapes is very present.

I haven't had such a good vegetarian meal in years! Here, someone truly cooks vegetarian food instead of just substituting meat for tofu: a true fusion of flavors, textures, and colors. If we lived in France, we'd eat here weekly. - Definitely try it!

Good evening, I'm giving it so many stars because it's well deserved. We came to Boffres on holiday, and on the advice of an acquaintance we went there. The staff were of course welcoming and smiling, and the pizzas we had (Eggplant and Courgette) were more than a treat. As a big fan, I'm not disappointed at all. We'll go back when we come back here on holiday. In any case, a big thank you to the team and have a good evening.

For me, everything went well. One small drawback was the number of dishes offered. We had a choice between chicken and a vegetarian dish, which I chose. The country pâté starter left our son-in-law wanting more. I mentioned this to the waitress, who suggested we order another plate, which wasn't really to our son-in-law's taste. A single slice of country pâté with a sprig of green salad, while the table further away was generously served two slices. I really enjoyed the gazpacho, which was truly excellent, as was the vegetarian dish and the divine dessert. The local beer is delicious. We chose this restaurant based on the photos posted by other people who had frequented the place. The dishes were very generous. So, it was a disappointment for the people I was with. It's good, but... The prices are reasonable, but hearty eaters may be disappointed.
