Lovely warm service, the most beautiful food and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and would go back again if we are back in Abbevile. *Edit - We did return a year later! Just as delicious and comfortable place. Food came out at the right pace even though they were moderately busy but it didn’t feel crowded or noisy. I had the same Thai beef stew as last time and it instantly reminded me of the last time I ate at La Corne in the best way. Definitely worth a visit.

While visiting Abbeville, we stumbled upon the charming restaurant La Corne. A delightful discovery! The setting was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We opted for the set menu, which featured delicious and well-prepared dishes. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The lunch menu may be quite short but it's all good, really, really good. From the salmon and cream cheese amuse bouche on we enjoyed every mouthful. My wife's only complaint was she was to full to have dessert😅. I wasn't, and the pear crumble was a triumph. The pear pieces were perfectly cooked, tender but with a good texture still. The crumble was buttery and crisp. It came with pear sorbet which really elevated it. Simple food done really, really, well.
