Auberge de la Cour d'Henon sur Cisse

This restaurant deserves to be better known! Ideally located between Neuville-de-Poitou and Poitiers in Cissé, it's easily accessible with ample parking. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel right at home with Chef Hubert Varvoux, his wife, and the entire team. They know how to make guests feel welcome, and the food is excellent too, like this beautifully presented fruit gratin for dessert. Even other restaurants in the area don't take the time to create such a thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented dessert. The pretty butterfly... The prices are very reasonable (you pay more these days at fast-food restaurants... without the quality of a restaurant like this). And the ingredients are sourced locally! So, next time you're passing by, stop by this Auberge de la Cour d'Hénon!

Excellent value for money for a home kitchen

Great restaurant, a fantastic find! I highly recommend it and I'll be back.

There were 12 of us for lunch today, Sunday, and we enjoyed the restaurant's menu. The food was well-prepared, the fresh, high-quality ingredients delighted us... and there was a good selection. Thank you also for the smooth and pleasant service. We will be back. Thank you.
