Auberge de la Foret sur Arques-La-Bataille

A double birthday celebration was organized to mark my husband and me turning 30. The meal was delicious from start to finish. The decorations were personalized and tasteful. The staff was attentive. The guests greatly appreciated the dedicated upstairs room, especially the many children who were able to wander and play freely. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you again, Claire

We went to this restaurant because it had very good reviews. First time there, but I won't be going back. The prices are high for what you get. I ordered fish and asked for a side dish. The answer was tagliatelle. In the end, the vegetables were a small portion. The desserts were disappointing.

We chose this restaurant somewhat by chance, and chance has worked out well. We were delighted by the Racines menu; everything looked tempting. We opted for the foie gras and frog legs, seasoned with great balance, followed by John Dory, the catch of the day, and sweetbreads, perfectly cooked and lightly grilled, giving them a wonderfully crispy texture! For dessert, the delicate tart and the soufflé were devoured in minutes, they were so delicious... Oh, and I almost forgot the cheese, a perfectly aged regional selection. And the wine list, affordable and excellent! We'll be back again and again until we've tried everything!! Thank you again for this wonderful experience. Keep it up! P.S.: You can bring a calm dog and have plenty of space for it to lie down comfortably.

Everything is homemade. We were pleasantly surprised to have found such a good restaurant. The menu price is justified.

A great restaurant, a bit out of the way. We've been there several times and enjoyed everything. The menu is relatively small, but both the meat and fish dishes were excellent, as were the desserts. The service is top-notch, friendly, and competent. The server even told us where we could buy the pastis we had as an aperitif.

A wonderful discovery thanks to a Wonderbox gift. The meal was very good, served at a perfect pace—not too long a wait between courses, nor too fast. A menu with something for everyone. It's a shame the advertised tarte flambée wasn't actually served that way.

We had a truly wonderful time at the Auberge de la Forêt. The warm welcome set the tone for the rest of the evening. Impeccable service and dishes that make you want to return. Camille, with her warm smile and professionalism, is simply outstanding. And yes, even far from Dieppe, there are still some excellent restaurants to be found. One thing is for sure: we will be back to enjoy the rest of the meal.
