Auberge de la Maix sur Vexaincourt

A hostel well located for hiking to Lac de la Maix. The menu is unique and we enjoyed charcuterie, tartiflette, pear belle Hélène in a rustic setting reminiscent of a stable. The welcome was very friendly and smiling.

Exactly what we were looking for. Fair prices with absolutely appropriate quality. Home cooking in French. Warm service, friendly cook, delicious food, authentic atmosphere. It's a shame it's closing soon.

Quelle belle expérience ! 😊 Un accueil chaleureux, jeune fille au service aux petits soins, Cuisine excellente, tarifs très raisonnables. Ambiance sympa, jolie terrasse, salle de restaurant chaleureuse, bar authentique. 43 euros 1 excellente pizza, 1 excellent jarret braisé, 2 desserts copieux et faits maison, 1 pichet 25cl blanc. Lieu rare à ne surtout pas manquer ! A faire : Rando lac/chapelle magique départ au pied de l'auberge. Parking voie verte à 300 mètres des kms de vélo....top. (Camping cariste de passage on reviendra )
