How could anyone not be charmed by this restaurant?
First of all, the setting is magnificent; the watermill and the restored old barn lend it a lovely, authentic feel. Then there's the warm welcome; we quickly felt right at home (the staff seemed genuinely happy and confident). And finally, the meal was perfect: the local produce was well-chosen, and the flavors were spot on.
It's rare to find an establishment that ticks so many boxes, and yet it does exist. What a wonderful discovery!

One of our favorite restaurants in the region. A beautiful Norman house with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is fantastic, and the service is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The lovely owner deserves special mention, as she gives the restaurant a very personal and warm touch. Highly recommended!

This is a little gem is nestled by the steam and waterwheel, it's a stunning location.
The food and wine was equally beautiful.
We were sat by the open crackling fire and we could have stayed all afternoon.
Thank you to whole team who made this lunch very memorable.

A warm welcome and well-set tables upon arrival make for a good first impression.
The cuisine is carefully prepared, using local and seasonal produce, but remains very traditional—no great culinary discoveries, rather a classic approach to flavors.
The service, however, could have been a little more organized: chewing gum while serving is messy and gives a somewhat untidy impression.
Overall, a well-maintained inn, run by friendly managers. If you enjoy traditional cuisine without looking for originality, this is a place to try.
