Discovered by chance during a romantic trip to Burgundy. The service and welcome were excellent, the beef bourguignon and pork chop were exceptional, and the blueberry and apple crumble tartlet was to die for.

Great place, friendly service, the outdoor terrace is lovely, the menu is well-stocked, I recommend it 200% ❤️

During the holidays, on a Tuesday evening, we struggled to find an open restaurant in the area we wanted. Le Renard'eau, although listed as closed on Google, finally opened its doors to us. I think this was because the hotel guests were having dinner. Neither my friend nor I knew the place at all, so we were somewhat taken aback by this discovery. It's a place that's stuck in the past: you either love it or hate it. The menu is far too dense, with too much information, which isn't very inviting. The waitress did inform us upon arrival which dishes were unavailable, as deliveries were made on Wednesdays. Nevertheless, despite this, we couldn't order the dish we wanted (an appetizer with fries) because they were out of fries. This was only mentioned to us when we placed our order. So we opted for the Gaston Gérard-style sliced ​​chicken with vegetables. Disappointment: it was simply sliced ​​chicken with whole-grain mustard, served with mashed potatoes. I'm still looking for the promised Comté cheese… The restaurant has clearly been featured on a TV show on M6, but they should be careful not to overdo it. The service could have been perfect, especially considering there were only two tables occupied: the bread remained on the table until dessert, as did the bottles and glasses of fruit juice throughout the entire meal.

Very nice setting. We were warmly welcomed! But please, with such a good andouillette cooked over a wood fire... no frozen fries. What a shame!

Nothing's changed, always a warm welcome with a smile. Leticia is a gem, the meal was exceptional value for money, nothing to complain about. Oh yes, we'll be back as soon as we can!

We chose this place for our anniversary celebration, and it was magnificent. Our waitress, Laetitia, was incredibly attentive, very pleasant, and always smiling, giving us excellent recommendations. The food was superb, and the meat was top quality. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert...lol. We had a very enjoyable end to the evening with the owners, chatting with them about various topics, and enjoying a complimentary digestif. I highly recommend it. We will be back. Seb and Angelique
