Lunch at the Auberge de la Tour between two mountain bike rides on the Celette river gets the postman back on his bike! A very friendly welcome and a delicious daily special – the saying "happy holidays" rings true in the Creuse region.

Service with a smile and genuine care. The food was delicious, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Unbeatable value for money. The icing on the cake was that each course was served with perfect timing. Thank you both so much, I wish you the success you deserve! €72 for two people, including a starter, main course, and dessert, an aperitif, two or three beers, a glass of white wine, and, most importantly, an extra course (a curiosity sparked by the chef) beautifully presented on two plates. Saying more would be too much... Thank you again, and see you soon!

On our way through the Creuse region, we discovered this restaurant housed in a splendid building. We enjoyed a lunch of simple yet delicious cuisine made with local produce. The very friendly owner chatted with us about the challenges of running such a restaurant in a rural setting, one that actively contributes to village life. Don't hesitate to make a slight detour, just a few kilometers off the main road. A lovely place that deserves support! Go without hesitation!
