Auberge de la Truite sur Rosay

We loved this restaurant so much, we went there twice in a week. It has just opened after a Summer break, so was relatively quiet, but they made us and our dog very welcome. The food was delicious and the staff were all delightful. Highly recommended.

This is the 3rd time I've eaten at the inn since it reopened and as always it's flawless. The cuisine is tasty, authentic, generous with well-sourced products. More than special mention for the Iberian ham and the smile of the whole team. You will definitely have a good time there.

Very good restaurant. The setting is really nice, both outside (at the bottom of the village of Rosay) and inside (simple and very tasteful decoration). The team is welcoming and attentive. The menu is quite classic, but everything is very well executed and nicely presented. Special mention for the whole trout which is deliciously cooked with particularly tasty aromatics. The only slight regret is that the dessert menu is not very extensive: there was no option based on seasonal fruits which would have been very pleasant on a summer evening (with peaches, raspberries, strawberries from corner ?). For next year perhaps? It deserves 5 stars anyway!
