We arrived late, which is really unusual for us, but the lovely owner welcomed us warmly and kindly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere under the vaulted ceiling; the food was delicious and homemade, and we had a lovely chat with the owner. Thank you, we'll be back and we highly recommend this place. (The two Swiss people and the little dog who tried to grab your fingers 😉🐶)

The Auberge de Lagernate was the culinary highlight of our Ardèche adventure! As for the food, I don't know what to say ✨🤤 simply incredible, super delicious, wonderful, and the flavors were brought out perfectly. It's not the same dish we make at home, but it looks almost the same, though the taste is nothing like it ❤️ We had a sirloin steak with asparagus gratin and a chocolate pavé with chestnut cream for dessert ✨ simply incredible ❤️✨ We will return with great pleasure and anticipation 🤤 Thank you for these flavors ✨

A charming and intimate little restaurant. Delicious homemade cuisine. Warm and attentive service. My husband and I try to go once a year without the children, and we are never disappointed. The quality of the food is always top-notch, and the welcome and service are always excellent. This restaurant deserves to be better known and appreciated for its entirely homemade cuisine using quality ingredients and its attentive service with helpful advice.

We were charmed by the warm atmosphere and delicious food! This is a place you can go to without hesitation. The menu is short (about four options for starters, main courses, and desserts), which is a sure sign of quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes! In addition to the delicious taste, the presentation is impeccable. I recommend the potato caillettes as a starter, a specialty that isn't as readily available as the green caillettes. Delicious. The welcome was truly warm. Throughout the meal, we chatted with the manager, who knows the area like the back of his hand and offered us plenty of tips for exploring the region. I'm definitely going back to eat if I have the pleasure of returning to the area! Thank you!
