A wonderful discovery! The welcome was particularly warm and the meal was truly excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

It's a very good restaurant with very well-prepared dishes. We ate on the terrace in a lovely setting.

Original, very good, and reasonably priced for set menus featuring a starter, main course, and dessert made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The service was efficient and quick (we were a group of 16), with proper restaurant tableware and large wine glasses. The chef delighted us with his Portuguese-inspired cuisine, without resorting to baccalhau (salt cod). On this sweltering midday, it was hot in this old stone farmhouse with its slate roof. The terrace option would have been even hotter. Two rooms are dedicated to a mini-museum of slate roofing, with photos, explanations, and displays of the materials used.

A secluded restaurant surrounded by nature, but the daily specials are excellent, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. I recommend it.

We stopped for lunch before visiting the archaeological museum in Hières-sur-Amby. We had a very good meal at this restaurant with its minimalist yet welcoming decor, clearly a restored old farmhouse with repointed stone walls, a refurbished roof structure, and high ceilings. Unfortunately, the chill in the air prevented us from dining outside, which was a shame because the sunny terrace looked very tempting. As for the meal itself, we were very well served. The simple lunch menu offered a limited selection, a sign of quality, but the dishes were succulent and expertly prepared. Everything was delicious, as were the wines from the vineyards of La Courna in Saint-Chef. The chef is in the kitchen, and his wife manages the dining room. Nothing more is needed; the service is impeccable and there's no waiting, even when the restaurant is full. We will gladly return for lunch—or dinner—at this restaurant.

Great restaurant. We had a fantastic meal. The food was excellent, the atmosphere perfect, and the decor very beautiful as well. Perfect.

A day trip to Bugey. A quick stop at Auberge Larina, which offered a Portuguese meal. It was like stepping back a few weeks to our holiday in Porto. We felt like we were back there again. The welcome and the meal were, as always, top-notch (it's not our first time, but there are always new discoveries). Luckily, they're not right next door, otherwise we'd be there all the time 😂. The great thing is that the North Isère region, around their place, is full of discoveries to make to end the day. The Larina archaeological site, the Balme caves, the bald cypress trees (best visited in late October/early November). This time, we'll visit the Château de Quirieu – a fortified island in the middle of the North Isère plateau, just above the Rhône – and we'll take a tour of the Briord Underground Aqueduct. In short, everything you need for a great day out, combining culinary discovery, history, and nature.

Lunch in front of a fireplace in a magnificent setting, with succulent and original dishes. The lamb shank was enormous and the dessert, yum!

Excellent value for money, all in a pleasant setting. The presentation of the dishes is perfect.
