Arrived by chance in this pretty, atypical place in the middle of the forest during a mountain bike ride with my son.
We were very warmly welcomed by this nice couple and enjoyed a delicious snack! Selfless and caring people! Can't wait to go back!

Malaterre is an old story that needs to be earned. This place must be approached with humility and respect. A family which, in addition to the technical challenge of feeding hundreds of people with old-fashioned methods, will also be able to offer you a taste experience worthy of interest. I have known Malaterre for 30 years, before a cabin then a place to live, it is one of the must-see places in the Vercors. Alice, Bernard and his family are real people from above whose hearts match.

Un très bel endroit où l'ambiance est au top 🧙♀️🧙♂️👍. Merci à toute cette belle famille qui nous a accueilli et servi. Ici tout est fait maison, le repas 🍽🍺 est bon et les desserts...Hmmmm❤️.

A very beautiful place where the atmosphere is great 👍. Thank you to all this beautiful family who welcomed and served us. Here everything is homemade, the meal 🍽🍺 is good and the desserts...Hmmmm❤️.

Great atmosphere, great service, the waitresses are very nice. If the cooking is made with local products that's great but the 🥗... are a little simple. But I highly recommend.

We always have a lovely time at Malaterre. The menu has an original twist on great local dishes and drinks, and all are delicious. A special mention for the ravioles with mushroom sauce, as they are the best that I have tasted in France. Also the apple crumble is exceptional - 10/10!
The ambiance and environment is amazing. We look forward to visiting every summer and winter holiday!
