Original setting and super friendly welcome

Today a few kilometers of walking on the high plateau of Corrençon-en-Vercors, just to stretch your legs. When at the bend of the path we came across an inn lost in the middle of the woods. But yes ! It’s a slightly timeless inn, a witches’ inn! Yes, witches! So reassure yourself, they are kind witches who will know how to delight you with their evil spells. There is no electricity in this remote corner, no running water either. You will need to use an "old-fashioned" means of payment, either by check or in hard cash, to avoid bad luck because there is no bank card either. To reach the "Auberge de Malaterre", as it is called, you will have to take the high plateau trails on foot or on snowshoes, on cross-country skis or by bike, but you can also access it by car depending on the season and the amount of snow. Entre la belle au bois dormant et blanche neige, sans eau ni électricité, c'est exceptionnel et tout est très bon.

Accueil chaleureux convivial, cuisine savoureuse. Magnifique petite auberge, hors du temps, insolite, repas servi au coin d'une cheminée, à la bougie, c'était superbe. Bonne continuation à vous. Sûrement à bientôt dans l'été.
