Great place, we go back again and again. Very good local cuisine and friendly staff. A truly authentic place.

A real find! This restaurant, practically in the middle of nowhere in the village of Créon d'Armagnac, offered a wonderfully warm welcome. Despite the restaurant being full of a group of classic car enthusiasts, the menus were enormous and delicious. There was no wait between courses, and the staff were always attentive. The Auberge des Chasseurs in Créon-d’Armagnac is a real gem for its value! We opted for the set menu… a delightful surprise for epicureans like myself. Do you know many restaurants that still offer a complete menu for under €30, including a starter, fish, meat, and dessert? I'm old enough to remember this from my youth in Gascony… and I'm approaching 70 now. Here, the tradition lives on, and it's remarkable. Eating a hearty meal is good enough for food lovers, but eating delicious, flavorful food is even better! My sincere congratulations on these generous and delicious menus. The setting is rustic, the service is prompt, and the welcome is incredibly warm. My only desire upon leaving the table was to return very soon!

My family and I go there frequently. It's simply the best restaurant in the area, without a doubt. Every year, I look forward to coming down from the capital to savor their delicious chicken stew, which would make many renowned chefs green with envy. But that's not all! Their pan-fried liver is to die for in its demi-glace-style sauce, which transports you to seventh heaven without even having to go through customs. Their porcini mushroom omelet is not only incredibly generous but also truly unique—a dish you might have imagined to be simple, but which, in this kitchen, reflects the chef's love for local produce. The prices are very reasonable, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and all the dishes are 100% from the Southwest. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, add perfectly cooked meats and slow-cooked dishes that evoke the flavors of your childhood. In short, go for it if you're looking for good food, warm service and a relaxed atmosphere!
