L’Auberge des Fontaines is one of those places you’d like to keep secret… but it deserves to be discovered. From the moment you arrive, the setting is idyllic: a true mountain inn atmosphere, authentic and welcoming, with that old-world charm that can’t be faked. A special mention goes to the old washhouse visible on the lower floor, a rare and poetic detail that anchors the place in its history. The terrace offers breathtaking mountain views: the kind of place where time slows down, where every meal becomes a special moment. And on the plate… it’s simply exceptional. Masterful, generous, and sincere cuisine, where every dish has meaning. The service is incredible: attentive, professional, and personal, with that perfect touch that makes you feel instantly at ease, without any fuss or pretension. It’s impossible not to mention the pork pluma, which in five years has become a true house specialty. A classic that you keep coming back for, and which perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the place: good taste, consistency, and a deep love for the craft. An inn just the way we like them, where everything comes together to make you want to return… very soon.
