Very friendly boss and very beautiful setting!

A great stopover for something to eat. Simple cuisine with good products served with a smile in a very pretty garden above the river. I recommend.

Change of ownership. We are the former managers, Jean Louis and Charles took over the Rennes of the inn to continue this magical place. The cuisine is different from traditional ones and uses only French and local products such as organic trout from the valley and pelardon from the plateaus. They also set up a grocery store with good French products and developed the bar area. We wish them success and continue to bring this beautiful place to life. Such a beautiful terrace, overlooking a garden and overlooking the river, you will not find it in the region.

Despite a somewhat teasing telephone reception, we still wanted to have lunch there. The physical welcome there is good and warm to boot. The setting is relaxing. The menu is reassuringly simple and the choices remain varied. 26th (supp. for meat) for main course plus dessert it can seem a little expensive especially since the accompaniment for the meat, which was very good, was simple (disappointing mention for the mini ramekin of ratatouille). The dessert was good with good flavor but did not seem to be the highlight of the moment because having ordered a mango/passion ice cream with pieces of pineapple, I found small pieces of ice cubes that were not very pleasant to eat. Overall it remains a good experience and even if it remains a personal point of view, I think that it is an establishment that will improve.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and no regrets. In a very pleasant setting, we ate very well there, adding to that a warm welcome and impeccable service. We can only recommend this address, we will come back with pleasure. THANKS.

A delight and a great discovery! Local products well presented in a dream setting! The staff is attentive, the establishment also provides a small grocery area which is very appreciable in the area! The inn: a little gem nestled in the heart of the incredible Vis Gorges. Beautiful place, peaceful, Great decoration, Good traditional cuisine, Highly friendly chefs Nothing to complain about the service. Meals with family, friends... a wonderful culinary break. I loved the “Burger” evening on August 12, 2024, organized by Jean-Louis and Charles-Henri, the new owners since July 2024. We were a little over 70 people from the Association du Pont de Madières. Charles-Henri made us burgers, either vegetarian or meat, accompanied by fresh fries and a drink of your choice. For my part, it was vegetarian and I found it perfect, with a warm welcome, from a smiling and pleasant team. A wonderful moment, a summer evening, in an ideal setting, in the arms of the mountain, with the gentle song of the river in the background. The cuisine was simple, with fresh, regional products. But what else did we need? What a pleasure to feel there, in harmony with this place, its lights and its sounds. Anyone who wants a simple, warm and true moment, don’t hesitate to come, I don’t think you will regret it! From morning coffee, with croissants, for a gentle and peaceful awakening, through midday for a fresh and authentic meal, to the starred dinner, you will be disorientated, but calm and rested. A "Plus", which is not negligible, this place also has a bread store, baked on site, just like croissants, as well as a small grocery store!!!! So come, try and see!!!! Up to you! My boyfriend and I stopped by this restaurant by chance, and we were not disappointed! A gem hidden in a mountainous setting, with a magnificent landscape, extraordinary cuisine, We had a salad with pelardon, a local cheese produced by a couple located not far from the restaurant, Swordfish was on the menu of the day, cooked Reunion style, absolutely fabulous as well as a rougail sausage to die for... A great discovery with only 3 people to run it all, who were also very friendly, we say hats off and we wish success and longevity to this recently resumed business, But we are not worried! I hope we have the chance to come back ✨️
