The restaurant is well located and serves traditional Alsatian dishes. We ordered tarte flambée, which was good but not very generously topped. However, one of the waitresses was unfriendly and asked us not to sit down even though her colleague had given us permission.

The owner gave us an unpleasant welcome. There were five of us, and we ordered food. One of us didn't want a drink, but he was told that to get a carafe of water, he had to order a paid beverage. If someone else doesn't want to order anything, they're charged €6.50. The other waitresses, however, were friendly, and the food was decent but quite expensive.

A very nice restaurant with excellent service. The ingredients are fresh and the cooking is perfect. There's a terrace and it's located in a pretty little village. I highly recommend it.

La Cave du Bailli

28/06/2026: We had lunch here on our private tour. Our driver brought us to this location made reservations for us and oh my gosh the tarts were so fantastic. We loved it. It started raining as we were eating as we were finishing but yet everybody was ready. Here great place to eat. Highly recommended for lunch. Just fantastic for us.
