A brilliant local eatery discovered thanks to Google maps, we would never have stumbled across this place but so glad we did! Beautiful and reasonably priced set menu, lovely atmosphere and really authentic french eating experience. Highly recommend. Top tip: order the Kir Normand apertif.
We came here by chance for the holidays, and we had a wonderful time. The food is excellent and homemade, with a €34 menu and a €27 appetizer with homemade petits fours.
The service was very pleasant and friendly.
The setting is simply cozy and well-kept, with comfortable chairs.
We'll be back next year.
Had a lovely dinner here with our 2 young kids last night of our road trip through Normandie. Food and ambiance were wonderful. It is not a fast service type of place so expect to spend at least 2 hours, as is the norm in lots of European places. There was one server for the entire service, which I presume is one of the owners. Take your time and enjoy the lovely view of the grazing cows across the road. While we were the only ones with kids, they do have one item on the children’s menu, which ours happily garfed down. For the regular diners there were 2 seasonal set menus plus a few additional items a la cart. The specials were amazing, terrine de campagne, langoustines with beurre blanc, and peach tiramisu. Husband had one of the set menus which was an enormous quantity of food especially compared to the usual European portion sizes.
