There were three of us for a delightful lunch at this inn, which has managed to preserve all its authentic charm. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the service throughout the meal reflected the simple and genuine conviviality that we so love to find in the countryside.
For starters, we enjoyed a cabbage, ham, and Comté cheese salad and a trout terrine with almonds—truly delightful appetizers that set the tone for the rest of the meal.
The main course was just as successful: duck confit with a potato and broccoli purée, and skate wing with chive cream, perfectly cooked and flavorful.
Here, the cuisine is prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and it shows in every bite. With a glass of wine and a coffee, the bill remains very reasonable—around €20 per person.
A wonderful culinary escape, full of generosity and deliciousness. A must-try! 🍷✨
We had lunch at this inn today and it was a superb experience. We ate extremely well: the food was excellent, refined, and full of flavor. The blanquette was delicious, with particularly tender meat, and the duck breast, served with a caramelized sauce, was simply superb.
A word also about Guillaume, the owner and chef: very kind, always with a touch of humor, he is an excellent host as well as an excellent cook. He is surrounded by a wonderful, attentive, and caring team, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The welcome was warm from beginning to end. It's a place where we immediately felt at ease, a place with a beautiful soul.
I highly recommend it!
We had a drink and a sandwich, which was delicious.
The atmosphere is pleasant.
However, the waitress wasn't friendly and didn't say hello or goodbye, which is the bare minimum in a business.
