We had a pleasant time in this restaurant.
As I left, I thought that it had been a long time since I had eaten so well.

I had a lot of expectations, particularly from what my parents had told me about it and especially the photos on the site.
Clearly this is not reality at all.
Be careful, we ate well and had a good evening but it had nothing to do with the semi-gastronomic mention.
So good place, we eat well but I expected more for this price.
Besides, I didn't understand why when I took the menu I had half the quantities of my partner (for example 5 figs in her dessert and me two, two blocks of foie gras for her and me a very small one) He should be indicated.

Fantastic restaurant in a small cozy village. We ate the tasting menu with accompanying wine and it was absolutely perfect and very affordable. Everything was right!
Would easily be a star in Guide Michelin!

L'auberge du Froehn est située dans un ancien caveau vigneron à l'entrée du village , l'endroit est sympa et décoré à l'Alsacienne . L'accueil est sympathique . La carte est restreinte mais c'est un gage de qualité et de plats faits maison . Les assiettes sont bien garnies . Les prix sont un peu chers mais nous avons remarqué qu'ils sont semblables dans toute l'Alsace , la région toute entière est devenue chère .

This was even better than expected - one of the best meals I've ever had in France. We had the degustation menu and it was superb. Make your booking asap as it isn't a large place. Incredibly there seemed only one person in the kitchen so the whole evening took about 2.5 hours but the first amuse bouche came very quickly, and the courses well paced after that.

I expected more, maybe it was on Tuesday. Were surprised that people were turned away even though only 3 tables were occupied. The service was mediocre, the food was decent, the atmosphere was rather bad (two completely drunk guys were sitting behind us and chatting). I had a much better feeling in the tourist area in Riquewihr. Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing for us.
