We had a wonderful time at Auberge du Froehn.
The menu was excellent, the decor very elegant and charming. We especially loved the orange-carrot-ginger sorbet with its gingerbread liqueur: an original and truly delicious combination.
While I don't usually like mango, I discovered a superb pairing of flavors with the caramel milk ice cream... simply sublime.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end and recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

A remarkable culinary experience. We were fortunate enough to try the tasting menu, and each dish was a true delight for the taste buds. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, with flavors that leave a lasting impression.
The wine pairings were simply exceptional and perfectly complemented each course. A truly enjoyable gastronomic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of fine dining. ☺️ Special mention also goes to the service, which exceeded our expectations!

Appetizers: 1 type per person! A few but good things
1) Semi-cooked foie gras with sauerkraut jam...divine 10/10
2) Organic egg, mushrooms, garlic, cream 8/10
3) Citrus sorbet with liqueur 8/10
4) Cod, vegetable chips, quinoa with lobster sauce 7/10...Lacking in flavor despite the ingredients
5) Veal shoulder, morels, cream, dauphine potatoes, vegetables 8/10 (but much too creamy...again)
6) Pineapple, salted caramel ice cream.... garnishes 9/10 (overall exquisite taste)
Wines: 4 decent glasses 7/10
I give the food an 8/10
Atmosphere 9/10
Two owners 9/10
Drawbacks:
Too many creamy dishes...the last one becomes cloying
Deep plates for almost all courses = needs improvement

A warm and inviting setting, tastefully decorated.
On Valentine's Day, the menu alone promised a feast of flavors. The couple runs the place with expertise; the owner manages the service, while her husband is in the kitchen, but also serves, creating perfect synchronization. In a calm and serene atmosphere, the dishes arrive, and the hostess's touch of humor completes the welcoming ambiance. The dishes begin to delight your taste buds. You've arrived at a cozy, gourmet haven. The chef has mastered his dishes and seasonings; I highly recommend it, all nestled among the vineyards. Thank you so much to them for this charming and delightful evening.

A small inn, somewhat deceptive in appearance. The interior is a bit cramped, but the decor and warm atmosphere are worth it. The menu is admittedly small but well-executed, and the meal was excellent! While the prices might deter some, personally, I found it very good value for money! All in all, a fantastic evening with a fantastic meal!

On January 3rd, my wife and I booked a table for February to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was closed until January 6th, so the reservation was pending confirmation. On January 4th, I received a text message requesting a credit card authorization for the reservation. Knowing the restaurant was closed until January 6th, I wasn't checking my emails every day. On January 5th, to my great surprise, I received an email informing me that the reservation was canceled. I had booked a month in advance and only had 24 hours to authorize the payment. I understand the reasoning, but the method is off-putting to potential customers. Oh well. We'll get over it.
