Auberge du Lion d'Or sur Nanteuil-Sur-Marne

We were on a long bike tour, and although the restaurant was about to close, the very friendly landlady let us have a bit of the buffet: fantastic appetizers, salads, hot dishes and desserts - we were thrilled!

After a warm welcome, we had a wonderful time in this friendly place. We opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet, which allowed us to sample a wide variety of homemade dishes, and the smoked salmon (also homemade) was delicious. We were there for a birthday celebration, and our hostess paid special attention to the birthday person. Although we were only passing through, we will definitely be back!

We ate lunch there for the first time (on the terrace), a wonderful discovery, a real change of scenery, authentic, and with a very warm welcome. Congratulations to the chef for his cuisine! Wow, the Camembert burger!! Incredible!!!!! Apparently, the skate wing with parsley butter was just as amazing. Honestly, I highly recommend it. We definitely plan to come back to try the brunch. Thank you again for your hospitality.

A restaurant worth discovering! Quality dinner at a reasonable price. A couple runs the place: the husband in the kitchen and the wife, who is smiling and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening, a first for us. Thank you and well done! 👏👏👏

We come to this restaurant regularly and it's always a pleasure thanks to the warm welcome and the quality of the food. The kidneys are succulent, and what can I say about the rum baba accompanied by two bottles of rum? ☺️ Go without hesitation, you'll be delighted! 👍

My partner and I came for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The welcome was truly lovely; we immediately felt at ease, and the staff was very attentive. We ate very well: the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was perfectly prepared. It's the kind of place where you enjoy lingering at the table and savoring the moment. A fantastic discovery for both of us—we will definitely be back!
