We stayed here as it is close to Dieppe for the ferry to Newhaven. A review on a rival site described the place as tired opulence, and I think that is a beautiful description. It is not at all unkind when you consider the property was built in 1500's or thereabouts. Staff are fabulous, which matched the welcome and the food.
