Auberge du Mas de Daumet sur Saint-Martial

A success from the welcome to the plate

I went there with my daughter. The terrace is lovely. Luckily, we were seated at the far end because there was a band playing and it was quite loud. Any closer and we would have had trouble talking! The dessert was more than disappointing (a lemon tart with no lemon flavor). And I think the waitress could improve her presentation; her outfit wasn't appropriate for a restaurant. I hope to be more satisfied next time.

Warm welcome, remarkable setting, cuisine bursting with colour and flavours.

We had a truly wonderful evening. The view is breathtaking, and the restaurant owners are very accommodating. There wasn't a vegetarian option on the menu, but they prepared something for me upon request. The food was incredibly delicious and quite unique. We were allowed to bring our dogs, and they were provided with water.

A fantastic experience in the heart of the Cévennes. A truly excellent culinary experience, surprising flavors – definitely worth trying. And an exceptional view.

To begin with, the meal was exquisite! From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert! Bravo to the chef and the entire team. You truly elevated excellent ingredients! Thank you! Accompanied by a good wine, of course. The terrace is magnificent, nestled between the charming stone building and offering a breathtaking view of the valley and its stream. An exceptional discovery! Go without hesitation!

A fantastic hostel. A very warm welcome. Delicious meals. Generous portions. Affordable prices. Highly recommended. Remember to book.

Excellent service, the waitress and waiter were very pleasant. The food was superb. The setting was magnificent. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed compared to previous years. Very small portions for each dish, despite the good taste. Slow service. A real shame.

A fantastic restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Cévennes mountains, a sophisticated menu featuring authentic cuisine, and an amazing atmosphere. We booked for a birthday celebration for 20 people and we weren't disappointed. A live band kept the party going all evening; it was great fun. Bonus: I'm vegetarian, and there wasn't an option on the menu, so they prepared a delicious tomato and burrata platter for me—a very pleasant surprise! ✨
