Excellent weekend nestled in the forest with a lovely walk. Beautiful, clean room, good bathroom, small terrace. Very warm welcome. Cozy restaurant with excellent menus and generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful place to celebrate our wedding last November! The Auberge du Mehrbächel offered us an authentic and welcoming setting for one of the most beautiful days of our lives. Thanks to meticulous planning, we were able to fully enjoy every moment without the slightest stress. The preparation beforehand was exemplary: professionalism, attention to detail, and a caring team that perfectly adapted to our wishes. The dinner will remain etched in our memories and those of our guests: farm-fresh products, refined and generous local cuisine, enhanced by the chef's expertise. The flavors, presentation, and quality were impeccable and contributed to making our evening a true feast. A huge thank you to the entire team and the Kornacker family: you were the cornerstone of this wonderful wedding weekend. We wholeheartedly recommend the Auberge du Mehrbächel: this place is a gem, and we will happily return to relive some of this magic!

Just great, welcome, meal, setting. The breakfast is exceptional with farm products: Munster, fromage blanc... A very big thank you. I will come back without hesitation.

It's a long way to get there, but the road is beautiful. The meal I ate there was simply excellent. There wasn't much greenery, but the trout with almonds reminded me of my childhood. Delicious, full of flavor, and well grilled.

We just spent another wonderful weekend with the Kornacker family and, as always, felt very comfortable. We've been here more than ten times now, and my husband always laughs his head off when I say on the way there, "I'm looking forward to the butter for breakfast!" It's true, though: the dairy products are homemade, and the trout is hot-smoked and still warm right before dinner. The auberge has been expanded several times over the years, and the rooms vary, but are always spotlessly clean and comfortable – the best are the ones with a balcony and a view of the valley. The peace and quiet at night is heavenly; the starry sky is rarely visible due to the lack of scattered light. There are donkeys, cows, and chickens; dogs are welcome, and I also find Titus the dog very lovable and have only had positive experiences with him (I don't understand the criticism that he bites; that's definitely not his normal behavior – he rarely barks either. The cat is also very discreet and not intrusive). My only criticism: I wanted to buy butter for home, but there was none left. We'll have to come back...

A wonderful family discovery in this remote inn in the forest - a birthday party for 8 people where we had a great time! The staff was very friendly.
