We had a fantastic time with friends and fellow meat lovers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The meat was absolutely delicious, and the fries and homemade mashed potatoes were superb. In short, a wonderful experience. And something that's becoming increasingly rare and deserves to be highlighted because it's always a nice touch: the owner offered us a complimentary digestif at checkout. So, as you can tell, I highly recommend this place, which will definitely become our new go-to spot for evenings with friends.

If you want to eat incredibly delicious wood-fired grilled meat, don't hesitate. We thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly cooked ribeye steak. The friendly and welcoming service was a real pleasure. A place to remember! We'll be back.

If you love meat and rustic cuisine, you've come to the right place. There's always a fish dish available, and vegetarian options are also offered. The extra-large andouille sausage is definitely worth trying, and they also serve dry-aged beef ribs cooked over a wood fire. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is very friendly.

We went there for the first time yesterday, February 14th. When we made the reservation several weeks ago, I asked if the Valentine's Day meal was a standard à la carte menu or a special set menu, which I hate. I was told it was à la carte... Then, to our surprise, upon arrival, we were shown a chalkboard with three choices for starter, main course, and dessert... Unfortunately, in the lottery of the seating plan, we drew the table right next to the speaker... What's more, it was the only table without a candle, and also the only table with mismatched wine glasses... The aperitif arrived, and the "Menhir Cocktail" (served, by the way, in a glass with a broken and sharp rim) at €8.50 was ultimately just a kind of cider with a touch of honey and two mint leaves.
A 40-minute wait for the starters, even though all three were identical except for the meat (cured ham, salmon, or foie gras), served with three salad leaves, one without dressing, a sort of flaky brioche, and what looked like overcooked fried food on top of the salad... In short, the foie gras was terrible, especially with the very sweet brioche, and the salmon was very basic. For €12, the dishes could be much better.
Then came the meats: a tournedos cut from the tenderloin, full of sinew, and a rib of beef, ordered rare and served medium-rare, which cost €73.
Both were accompanied by "sauce menhir," which was supposed to be a honey-onion-mustard sauce. One would expect a smooth sauce with sliced onions, but it was nothing of the sort. Nothing more than a shallot sauce without shallots, with mustard seeds, and very runny with a wine-like taste...
All of this, once again accompanied by a salad and flat, burnt fries (perhaps just the potato skins?).
Fortunately, it wasn't all bad; overall, the food was good if you overlook the price, and honorable mentions go to the buttery mashed potatoes, the (real) homemade fries, which were very good, and the entire staff, who were very pleasant and friendly.
No dessert and a €146 bill... Not a disastrous experience, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.
