Rustic auberge in an old stone house. Nice terrace, cozy, clean rooms. In the evening you can choose between two 3-course menus. Friendly service.

beautiful, typical inn steeped in history it is true that the rooms are old but clean and the welcome was very friendly I recommend for an evening stopover

Very warm welcome. Clean and spacious room. Very good restaurant and reasonable prices. Hotel a little out of town. Breakfast served late (from 8 a.m.)

Small parking lot. Not always a real place for your vehicle. Hearty breakfast but not of excellent quality. Quality of the meal correct. Old but clean room. Very very hot despite a large electronic fan. Poor quality TNT. Good quality WiFi. Decent service but little time to spend with customers.

Pretty typical residence, spacious and very clean room. Pleasant and very good meal served in the shade. Hearty and varied breakfast. Very pleasant welcome from the young woman, smiling and very attentive to our requests. Well located close to public transport to Alès. I recommend

Superb Cévennes house from the 1700s. Very beautiful furnishings and decoration. The rooms are typical and clean. Excellent welcome by a young, charming, courageous, available lady who also provides excellent service.

Very friendly welcome, excellent dinner and hearty breakfast. Very good bedding, decent room and very clean. Delighted with our stay. No complaints.

Étape a moto. Réservation par le net L accueil un peu froid.le propriétaire fait très ours. Pas de communication . Chambre lugubre vieillotte Lit draps tâches Sdb baignoire encrassée et tapis de bain ayant servi. Serviettes pas nettes. On ne s en ait pas servi Des cheveux et poussières au sol.idem pour les toilettes. Le service du soir . La serveuse en costume . Mais d ou ? On a eu beau cherche ... On a pas trouvé l info . Serveuse peu communicante peu souriante . Repas du soir bof Gratin dauphinois en boîte . Le confit filet aussi. Tout était réchauffé . Le petit dej était copieux . Je ne recommande pas . Dommage ça pourrait être magnifique.et faire un endroit magique. Mais le coté vieillot et l'hygiène et le manque d enthousiasme des propriétaires invitent à la fuite. Attention ne convient pas auxpersonnes a mobilités réduites et aux personnes âgés escaliers en pierres de une époque révolue. Conseil voyagez tjrs avec votre kit d hygiène. Ça nous a bien dépanne .

17/09/2024: Friendly place with efficient and pleasant service. Just a shame about the too liquid sauce with my meat. The fish very good as well as my white wine in a pitcher. Too bad for the caramel ice cream which has a vanilla visual appearance and the caramel taste is not pronounced enough for me. Thanks to the whole team
08/09/2024: Everything was very good, the homemade ice creams excellent with reasonable prices! The waitress is very pleasant and friendly.

08/09/2024: I have been a customer of l’Oronge for 50 years and experienced its various owners. This was my first time back after three years under new operators I had been highly recommended. A young and friendly couple, Camille and Théodore bring back the best of the hospitality and pleasant dining I knew when I was a child. The kindness and smile of Camille will immediately make you feel welcome. Théodore and his crew will deliver on the promise of this first impression with carefully crafted plates that share imagination and great taste. Our party of 22 for a family reunion was kindly accommodated to our wishes despite a few last minute changes to the number of guests and plate because of an allergy I was not aware of. All of us enjoyed the fixed menu I had selected for our group with Camille and Théodore and all were also amazed at the value of the 3-meal menu with aperitif, wine and coffee we received for 35€. Saint-Jean-du-Gard has again a nice place to enjoy lunch and diner. Sadly the weather turned wet and we could not enjoyed the terrace this time, but we’ll be back next summer for the full experience.
31/07/2024: We just ate for lunch. A big thank you to the chef and his brigade as well as the wait staff for adapting the dishes to gluten-free.
