What a wonderful experience this restaurant was! A seven-course tasting menu for two was offered to me for my birthday. The seven courses meant we spent two hours at the table, but the time flew by, and the portions were just right to keep us wanting more. We had a fantastic time; the meal was delicious, full of surprises and beautiful combinations of flavors. The waitstaff was very friendly, open to conversation, and attentive without being intrusive. Treat yourself!

The restaurant, Relais Sauvigny, is no longer what it was under the previous owners and chef. The cuisine was refined, the service exceptional for an exceptional restaurant. €301 for 4 people, €75 per person, food that any average restaurant could have served. However, I must admit, even though I don't usually like game, the venison was of very good quality; it melted in the mouth.

Just a few kilometers outside Château-Thierry, seemingly lost in the Picardy countryside, you'll find at this gastronomic inn the perfect opportunity for a delightful experience that will tantalize both your taste buds and your eyes. A warm welcome worthy of the finest establishments awaits you, nestled in a stylish and cozy private lounge (ideal for a family of 10). The dishes are succulent, presented with a harmonious, almost poetic flair. The service is impeccable, perfectly paced. It's no surprise, then, that I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant at the Auberge Le Relais, with its excellent menus and beautiful wine list, all set against a magnificent backdrop of the Marne Valley.
