An absolutely magical moment! 🌟 The meal was simply extraordinary, exquisitely refined from start to finish. The setting and ambiance are enchanting; you truly feel like you're in a fairy tale. To top it all off, the waiter was incredibly kind. We got along very well with him, which made the experience even more exceptional. A must-visit in Reuilly-Sauvigny, we will definitely be back! A huge thank you to the entire team.

We had this experience last night. We had a reservation for 7 p.m. We chose three courses, a cheese platter, and a dessert. The ordering and service were perfect: the staff was pleasant, professional, and attentive. We were the only ones in the restaurant that evening. However, the pace of the meal was far too fast for a three-course meal. The courses arrived at a rather surprising speed, as if the staff wanted to finish quickly. By 9:20 p.m., we were already outside. The end of the meal was also quite strange in terms of atmosphere: the music stopped for a good part of the last hour, the lights were very dim… We felt like we were being gently asked to leave. As for the meal, it came to €206 for a fruit cocktail, a glass of wine, three courses each, cheese, and desserts. The first three courses were very good. The amuse-bouches were excellent, and the entire beginning of the meal was truly successful. However, the sweetbreads were very fatty and particularly tough, to the point that a good portion remained on the plate. The waiter regularly asked us if everything was alright at the beginning of the meal, but from the second course onward, we felt somewhat neglected. For the cheese course, a platter is presented at the table, and you have to choose three varieties. Unfortunately, the Chaource was far too strong, and the Comté didn't really live up to the restaurant's standards, which is a shame. Regarding the dessert: as a pastry chef, I realize I might have a more discerning eye than most. But the strawberry-pistachio dessert clearly didn't seem to be up to the standard of the rest of the meal. The strawberries were bland and seemed to have been cut a long time ago: they were dry on the surface. The pistachio cream was very colorful, but the pistachio flavor was practically nonexistent. The small cake that accompanied the dish wasn't bad, but it didn't seem to belong in a fine-dining restaurant. The jelly was very thick, tasteless, and visually rather crude. We did, however, enjoy the meal overall, particularly the beginning of the experience and the initial quality of service. However, we unfortunately don't plan to return. This review is intended to be constructive.

Our group of 12 dined at Auberge le Relais. The hotel and restaurant boasts a stunning location, both secluded and offering breathtaking views. In a lovely private dining room, the chef personally took our menu order. The waiter, with his friendly manner and fluent German, more than compensated for our limited French. The sophisticated menu was excellent in both taste and presentation, and the champagnes and wines were superb. The following day, we visited the champagne producer to purchase a few cases. All in all, it was a wonderful evening. We would love to return!

What a wonderful experience this restaurant was! A seven-course tasting menu for two was offered to me for my birthday. The seven courses meant we spent two hours at the table, but the time flew by, and the portions were just right to keep us wanting more. We had a fantastic time; the meal was delicious, full of surprises and beautiful combinations of flavors. The waitstaff was very friendly, open to conversation, and attentive without being intrusive. Treat yourself!
