Disappointment… the food was very good, but the service was rushed and the setting dreary! A shame, because good food isn't everything. A good makeover seems necessary.
My wife and I ordered foie gras, which warmed up very quickly despite the pleasant room temperature. (Perhaps the plates had been out of the refrigerator for a long time...) My wife became ill on the way home, and I felt slightly queasy.
The main courses were very good; I had duck breast. My only complaint is the portion size. There was far too much mashed potato with two "mini" duck breast strips. I was even served a piece of carrot cut into strips to represent the third... The sauces were excellent. We were seated in the room overlooking the terrace, which felt a bit cold. Nevertheless, it's still a good restaurant.
Excellent meal! I had a wonderful meal with my friend Lucas Duhem. I opted for the tasting menu and highly recommend it. The service was very welcoming. I send them my regards.
