Auberge Herbe Tendre sur Saint-Pierre-D'Entremont

A lovely meal with friends at L'Herbe Tendre, excellent service and a beautiful setting! The ice cream is to die for.

A very good restaurant; the new owners are very welcoming and the food is delicious. When we ate there, there was a choice of two dishes, one of which was vegetarian; both were excellent, made with local produce. The terrace is lovely, shaded, and well situated overlooking the river.

A perfect place to stay in the heart of the Chartreuse mountains, in the charming village of St Pierre d'Entremont. L'Herbe Tendre is run by a friendly team who warmly welcome hikers, cyclists, and tourists alike, whether they're enjoying a delicious meal or relaxing in the garden by the stream. We loved spending an evening there enjoying a fondue (in the middle of summer, yes indeed!) and returning to spend the night at the gîte. A huge thank you to the whole team!

Perfect! The welcome is warm and the homemade food is delicious! I highly recommend coming here!

I would have liked to give it 5 stars… unfortunately, the service, although very friendly, was overwhelmed (with half the tables occupied) and not at all attentive… a very long wait… What a shame…

The food is good, but the quantity/price ratio is not there.

We had the daily special and dessert for lunch. It was excellent!

The setting and welcome were warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. However, there was one small drawback: the blueberry tart arrived half-thawed. The blueberries were swimming in water. It was completely unappealing and a huge disappointment.

Perfect for sleeping, especially with the excellent soundproofing as the stream runs right by the cottage. And perfect for dinner too, with local produce and well-prepared dishes at reasonable prices. Friendly welcome as well. We will be back. Thank you.
