Auberge L' Etape sur Tautavel

We stopped by chance yesterday at this inn and did not regret it, everything is PERFECT: generous and delicious dishes and for my part I let myself be tempted by the soft chestnut after having hesitated to have a dessert and, frankly , it would have been a crime not to eat it, a real delight, I almost regret having allowed my husband to take some from me ;-) The chef comes as soon as he can to see if everything is going well good and talk with those who wish and his lady at the service is very smiling and friendly. A great experience, we recommend!!! Good luck to you both, here or on your island!!

Tautavel est célèbre pour son "homme" et si vous visitez le musée, profitez-en pour déjeuner à L'Etape. L'accueil est chaleureux, la cuisine est simple mais bonne (excellente et copieuse assiette Catalane avec frites vraiment maison) et les prix sont doux. Que demander de plus ? Bravo !

I never leave reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to! My dish was delicious, the cooking superb, I tasted all my friends' dishes and they were just as good!! Let's not even mention the chestnut dessert, delicious. Great service, very good atmosphere, I recommend without hesitation.

10/10, from the food, to the welcome, to the atmosphere, everything was fantastic! We came to celebrate my birthday, and we had special touches with a free dessert, in addition to absolutely delicious and very hearty food, for a more than affordable price 💖 Highly recommend!

Despite an exterior that doesn't look like much, quality cuisine and a warm welcome are worth the detour. Very good value for money. I highly recommend

Copious and very good meal, staff more than friendly and very warm, the wait for the dishes is not noticeable I recommend if you want to have a good time around good local dishes

We stopped at the stage by chance and it was a very happy coincidence! The place is charming and the staff attentive. The menu is simple but very good and there are even 2 vegetarian options!! Perfect in every way and thank you for your welcome!!

Excellente adresse! Accueil et service très chaleureux! On sent une volonté de partager et de faire plaisir! De bons produits locaux cuisinés avec soin et maîtrise, mais surtout avec le cœur! on y a mangé 2 fois en 2 jours! Merci encore pour votre accueil et la qualité de votre menu!
