A superb place, excellent value for money. I must commend the efficiency of our waitress, who was single-handedly serving around fifty covers. Yes, the service was slow, but we were all served, and I presume we all had plenty of time on this Sunday, so please... those who were impatient should remain polite to the staff who were doing their best, and remember that there are more serious things in life than waiting 45 minutes between courses! Kudos to the staff and thank you for this pleasant experience.

A delightful surprise with a very warm welcome. I was there with my son and his partner. On the menu: warm goat cheese salad, pork braised in beer, and a fabulous chestnut fondant, all served by a very friendly and professional waiter.

A warm welcome, a thoughtfully prepared meal made with local produce, and an atmosphere of unparalleled tranquility under the abbey's majestic trees.
