Auberge le Sabot de Vénus sur Meaudre

Excellent restaurant. The staff and chef were very welcoming. Our taste buds were delighted. A wonderful discovery of regional dishes. Subtle desserts! The digestif, in particular, was absolutely sublime! A must-try if you're in the area. Excellent value for money.

A wonderful experience in June at Le Sabot de Vénus. Home-cooked dinner in the evening, a delicious ravioli gratin with a Clairette cocktail. A very warm welcome as well!

We had lunch there during the Méaudre Organic Fair. Lovely shaded terrace. Service was adequate, provided by a young team starting their season (let's be lenient). And absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the young woman who served us; she was very professional and polite. As for the food, we loved the gazpacho as a starter and the ravioli as a main course. The desserts were very classic (chocolate fondant, crème brûlée, and faisselle cheese), which was a shame. A fresh fruit salad, perhaps organic, would have been welcome 😋. Regarding the fish fillet, it's a pity the sauce wasn't served separately and that it only came with potato gratin (very bland). We were expecting vegetables in this heat. The place is clean and welcoming. The chef, who came to greet us, was also very friendly. Have a good season…

We ate lunch here during the Meaudre organic fair. A big mistake on my part; I thought the menu was organic for the occasion. No big deal, though. That said, the dishes lacked creativity; they were good, but nothing special, lacking that little something extra that makes a dish truly special. A bit too simplistic for €21 for a starter and main course. As for the young waitress... did anyone explain the meaning of the word "friendliness" to her? I highly doubt it. Luckily, the chef finished our shift; otherwise, I would have ended up being quite unpleasant. So, a few things to improve.

We had lunch at the restaurant and received a warm welcome, even though we hadn't made a reservation. We enjoyed the trout with its delicious Clairette de Die sauce, accompanied by Vercors gratin. A true delight for the taste buds.

I took my friend to this wonderful place, an enchanting escape in the heart of the Vercors. Thank you to the owner for his legendary kindness and warmth. We had a wonderful meal! I highly recommend the walnut ice cream, with its delicious chunks of walnut. I had seconds! Thank you also to the very friendly waiter who took such good care of us. I highly recommend this lovely place.

In the heart of the village of Méaudre, this charming inn offers spacious and well-equipped rooms. The restaurant serves delicious cuisine made with excellent local produce. An excellent place to stay while exploring the Vercors plateau!

Just lunch on this Sunday in March, but a real treat for the taste buds. What can I say about this menu called "Pleasure," where you'll discover a perfect balance of flavors with local, homemade products, prepared to order, and, without giving too much away, some original touches (e.g., beetroot soup with Bleu de Sassenage cheese...). Furthermore, the dining room is lovely and the service is friendly and efficient. What a joy to find a restaurant where you can enjoy such a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. Madam Chef, I look forward to returning to try your dishes and desserts. See you soon.
