Auberge L'étape Cavalière sur Beaujeu

16/03/2024: The decor, ambiance and staff are superb, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The dishes are of impeccable quality...the delicious salmon tartare, the steak tartare and also the Beaujolaise sauerkraut, very popular and simply delicious! Portions are generous and good value for money. We will come back as often as possible! We highly recommend this restaurant!

09/03/2024: Family lunch accompanied by a friend after a short walk in Beaujeu. On the menu: 3 Charolais steaks for my wife, my youngest daughter and me, a beef tartare for my eldest daughter and cabbage/andouillette lasagna for our friend. Everyone enjoyed it: the meat was tender and tasty, the fine homemade fries were tasty and the desserts were delicious (praline tarts, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and tiramisu). Even the white wine (Beaujolais, of course) charmed my wife's taste buds. The service was impeccable and rather quick considering the busyness of that lunchtime. Finally, the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the products. Congratulations to the chef who did not deserve anything, alone behind his stove. NB: small detail which is important for a lot of customers, us first: the toilets are clean!! We highly recommend!
