A very pleasant surprise during a stop on our loop from La Manère. The chapel is beautiful, with its unique (and rare in France) Camaril. The welcome was also fantastic; we had a delicious meal for a very reasonable price! If you wish, you can stay at the refuge and lend a hand to the warden who single-handedly maintains this lovely building. If you are in a large group, it's best to call ahead to reserve.

A superb, timeless place where relaxation seems so easy... Vinoth's warm and kind welcome, along with his delicious, carefully prepared dishes, commands respect. The immediate surroundings are imbued with tranquility. Don't miss the walk to the fountain where refreshing coolness awaits, and a visit to the magnificent historic chapel, so beautifully renovated and preserved. Thank you again to Vinoth for his incredibly kind hospitality. Visited in August 2025.

04/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, the food is superb and the owner is friendly.
19/08/2026: We particularly enjoyed the serrano ham and shavings as a starter, then the duck confit pastilla, and for dessert the chocolate cream and the deconstructed lemon tart with basil and spinach sorbet, special mention for this lemon tart, original and delicious.

Located outside the most crowded area of ​​restaurants, in front of the tourist office. It has an outdoor terrace (very comfortable) and a large indoor lounge (very well decorated). The service is very correct, friendly and professional. The food: excellent; and the price, more than reasonable. Too bad it doesn't appear on Google maps as a "restaurant" option. It appears as "accommodation" and this means that not everyone knows the restaurant options they offer. Without a doubt, a place to return to.
