Auberge Refuge Du Neuweiher sur Rimbach-Pres-Masevaux

A very beautiful hike from Lake Alfeld to Lake Neuweiher, with a wonderful lunch on the terrace at the Neuweiher mountain refuge.

We stopped to camp overnight, and they gave us a very warm welcome despite being full. They even managed to find us a place to eat. The menu was fantastic and delicious! 👍👍👍 Thank you to the owners and staff. I recommend it 200%; the place is beautiful.

A perfect stay! A warm welcome, delicious home-cooked meals, lovely hosts and staff, very comfortable bedding, and a magical location with a stunning lake view. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end. Just remember to book in advance and be prepared to pay by credit card only.

A lovely overnight stop after a long hike on the GR5. We didn't regret straying from the GR5. The refuge is situated in an exceptional setting, and the welcome and advice from the owner and chef were very helpful. The meal was delicious, featuring wild boar stew. We will cherish the memory of our stay.

A very pretty inn located in a peaceful and relaxing spot :) We didn't stay there, but after a short hour's walk, it was lovely to stop and enjoy some Alsatian specialties. The setting, right on the water, is magnificent. The owners are very charming and welcoming. The food is delicious and very good value for money. Two small tips, though: - Call before you go to make sure you get a table. - Bring cash; they don't accept credit cards! I highly recommend this place 🍽️

A nice little meal during our hike. The owners are super friendly and their dog is adorable! Special mention to the blueberry tart and the elderflower white wine!!!

The welcome was exceptionally warm; I loved chatting with the owner, who has excellent interpersonal skills. At the table, we thoroughly enjoyed the wild boar and Alsatian pasta. The location by the lake is magical. A dream evening.

The welcome was perfect; everyone, whether staff or just passing through, was absolutely lovely. The meals were hearty and very restorative. The rooms are very nice and offer good value for money. I highly recommend it!
