Auberge Sundgovienne sur Carspach

A high-end restaurant that's fast and welcoming, with appetizers etc. I recommend it; prices vary from menus at 45 to 80, there's something for everyone.

It's always a pleasure for me to return to the Auberge Sundgovienne: a beautiful hotel and restaurant expertly run by the Hermann family. The restaurant's dining room is cozy and chic, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I had a wonderful meal, as usual. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the €23 set menu be more elaborate; it's sometimes a little too simplistic considering the overall quality of the establishment and the rest of the menu. Passing through for a Friday night, we received a very warm welcome and also had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel is charming, the junior suite was very clean and relaxing with a superb view of the illuminated forest. The welcome tray is always a lovely touch. The bathroom was modern with all the necessary toiletries provided. The restaurant was an excellent discovery. The dishes are beautifully prepared with a touch of both modernity and tradition. Comforting flavors. I ordered the vegetarian platter, and what could be more difficult than making a dish made entirely of vegetables truly delicious... but they succeeded! The truffle risotto was divine. And to finish, the chocolate sphere was simply divine! The service was impeccable, with smiles and genuine kindness. We are delighted to have taken this short break. I discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend. The setting was elegant and chic, the staff were friendly, and the meal was delicious. For my starter, I had the perfect egg with celery mousseline and mushroom emulsion. For my main course, I had the veal kidneys in port with peas and spätzle. They were cooked to perfection. For dessert, I chose a chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, and since it was my birthday, I was treated to an excellent entremet with a candle. A lovely touch from the staff. The sommelier gave excellent advice. I enjoyed a perfect Saint-Aubin with my meal. A pleasant evening in an excellent restaurant that I would be happy to return to.

The perfect restaurant for celebrating special occasions. Refined cuisine, superb wines, a cozy and beautifully decorated setting for the holidays. Our waitress was attentive and discreet. A wonderful discovery, thank you for this lovely moment 💕

I went to the restaurant; the meal was good, but the staff wasn't very pleasant. Whether it was the service or when paying... I've rarely encountered such unfriendly people in an establishment of this type (hotel).
