A restaurant I discovered by chance; the decor is simple, but the homemade Alsatian dishes are very good and generous. A sure bet.

Excellent, generous portions. Family atmosphere, excellent welcome. The calf's head was so large I took half home. A set menu (starter, main course, dessert) is available for €17. A very accessible inn. Located in Linthal on the road to Markstein. Easy parking.

While passing through the area, we were looking for a restaurant serving local dishes. A very pleasant discovery! The waitress was attentive, and the portions were generous and unpretentious. The dining room is a bit echoey, which is slightly bothersome when there aren't many customers.

26/05/2026: A charming farmhouse in a stunning location with views of the Grand Ballon. A wonderful refuge from the scorching heat in the valley! Excellent, rustic Alsatian cuisine! It was delicious – we'll definitely be back!
17/05/2026: A true farm inn, the barn is right next door. The inn is located off the beaten tourist track. The traditional mountain meal was very good and very hearty. The rhubarb tart was excellent.
