Authentica sur Pianottoli-Caldarello

A coffee before heading back to Moselle. It was a real pleasure listening to the owner's stories. Makes you want to come back!

We stopped at the Authentica open-air café upon our arrival in Corsica and had a wonderful time. The warm welcome and lively conversations were truly delightful. We returned on our last day because we were eager to experience that same cheerful and friendly atmosphere so typical of Corsica. We happily shared our travel stories and took note of all your recommendations, so thank you warmly from Belgium and Toulouse. We highly recommend this café to anyone passing through the area! A timeless place with a super friendly owner who sat down at our table with an exceptional appetizer platter – a truly magnificent and authentic experience!

A warm welcome: the owner took the time to chat with us and suggested some interesting places to visit. (It's worth remembering that in Corsica, the concepts of respect and good manners still exist). The food and drinks we enjoyed were of high quality. I highly recommend the homemade ice cream. You absolutely must try the Brocciu ice cream – it's exceptional! There are a few tables under a very effective shade sail (we sat there for over an hour without getting hot). As for the sandwiches, the bread, charcuterie, and cheese are excellent, but the slices are very thin, which might be a shock to those used to sandwiches overflowing with butter and mayonnaise.

While on holiday, we ordered a platter of delicious cheeses and charcuterie. We had a lovely time enjoying the excellent products. The owner gave us a warm welcome, thank you!

A delicious little break at Authentica in Paniolli with Pierre and Léon 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches, the excellent Corsican charcuterie, and the sheep's cheese! The ice cream was also delicious 🍦 A very friendly and warm welcome. We highly recommend this place for a short break in Corsica between a hike and enjoying the beach! ☀️
