A Corsican break with Jean that you absolutely shouldn't miss! Thank you, Jean, for this moment listening to your story, your battles to preserve Corsica in its natural state... Two hours flew by on Tuesday at lunchtime, enjoying a charcuterie board, a glass of Corsican rosé, and finishing with a scoop of creamy ice cream. Our break was the perfect way to end our vacation! Discovered this snack bar just around a bend on the way to San Giovanni beach. The lonzo sandwiches are fabulous. The owner offered us parking and showed us the way to the beach. Amazing place, fabulous sandwiches, a great find, highly recommended.

The owner is SUPER NICE!! No complaints about his kindness! However... 9 euros for a sandwich made with unwashed hands, 5 small pieces of coppa, tiny pieces of cheese, no salad, no tomato, no sauce... for 9 euros... you're better off going to the Super U bakery 5 minutes away; you'll pay half the price.

Corsica in its authentic form: kindness, helpfulness, conversation, and sound advice. The coppa sandwiches are to die for. And the homemade ice cream too—a sparkling exchange of flavors between the fruit and the taste buds.
