30/07/2026: On July 29, 2026, we celebrated our son's birthday at Chez Paul, it was fantastic! We ate very well; the lamb shanks were a delight, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The platter of Corsican charcuterie is worth a visit to the restaurant, and my wife loved the cheese cannelloni. All of this was accompanied by a very pleasant local rosé wine. I will remember this meal with friends for a long time. If you come to Ajaccio, I recommend visiting the peaceful haven of Bastelica, a very typical traditional Corsican village with breathtaking views. And ending the day at Chez Paul...

26/07/2026: Excellent and very generous portions! The lady serving was incredibly kind, and everything is homemade by her mother and grandmother! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Corsican charcuterie from the village, veal stew, and cannelloni that were simply divine, and for dessert, a truly surprising chestnut mousse! Go without hesitation. Bonus: the view of the village from the terrace 🤩

27/07/2026: Returning from the horse races this Sunday evening, we stopped for dinner at this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! The owner, who also serves as the waiter, is very friendly and pleasant. Our order was taken quite quickly. The menu is small, but everything is homemade. Two people in the kitchen prepare the orders. The dishes are beautifully presented. It's clear that this place will become a must-visit in this region. Wishing the whole team a great season! I highly recommend this restaurant.

23/07/2026: We stumbled upon L’Authentique quite by chance during a hike through the Corsican mountains. To be honest, when we arrived, we weren't necessarily expecting a great culinary experience: the restaurant doesn't look particularly impressive from the outside, and it wasn't exactly on our itinerary. And yet… what a surprise! I ordered a burger and it was absolutely delicious. A truly great find, with a generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared dish. It just goes to show, you can't always judge a book by its cover! The service was also excellent: the servers and cooks were all very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We really had a great time. Another very positive point: the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality offered. A wonderful and completely unexpected discovery during our stay in Corsica. If I ever pass through Zonza again, I will definitely stop by L’Authentique once more!

04/08/2026: We loved this restaurant! The menu is simple, but everything is delicious and locally sourced! The Moulin burger was exquisite, and the cannelloni were too! The waitresses were lovely and very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. We highly recommend it!

03/08/2026: We were staying at the campsite right across the street. Since the restaurant seemed to have good reviews, we went there for dinner. And what an incredible discovery!! The view is magnificent, the service is friendly, and the food is divine (made with fresh, local produce; you can taste the expertise, or at least the culinary skill!). In short, this restaurant has a soul, and it shows in the food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; thank you for this wonderful experience. So, if my review can help you make a decision, go for it!!!

19/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Thank you to the Porto tourist office for recommending this exceptional restaurant. A breathtaking view, an unforgettable welcome from the owners. You feel right at home, and the food... well, let's just say it's amazing. Incredible charcuterie, succulent roast lamb, and fabulous zucchini fritters. And as a bonus, the owner's own Limoncello! Bravo to the whole team! I hope to have the chance to return to this region and eat there again.

18/07/2026: A timeless restaurant, far from the hustle and bustle, with a splendid mountain view. At Chez Félix, you feel at ease thanks to the setting and the warm welcome, worthy of many Corsican restaurateurs. You feel invited to share a special moment. This is practically unheard of on the mainland. The homemade cuisine is excellent and served in generous portions. Everything is perfect. Don't change a thing.

05/07/2026: We were looking for a restaurant before leaving Ajaccio and stopped to look at the menu. The owner kindly came over to chat with us and showed us his beautiful, generously filled salads, and we decided to stay. We had a really good meal; the salads were so full that we had trouble finishing them. I highly recommend this restaurant for its warm welcome, excellent service, and very reasonably priced dishes. 04/07/2026: Superb, generously filled salads! Even my father was satisfied… We especially loved the octopus and anchovy salad and the one with melon, burrata, and Corsican ham :)

07/08/2026: We went there several times and honestly this last time I was disappointed with the meat (veal sausage) which was overcooked, a very classic dish plus they were overwhelmed… frankly average.

07/08/2026: Everything was excellent. The tapas platter was exceptional, the tasting trio was amazing. The reimagined baba was superb. The owners were very friendly. In short, everything was great, go for it!
