The BA organisation is a disgrace. You show up 2 1/2 hours before the flight 2 queues, one for the desk that says LHR check in one for business class. 1 hr 55mins before the flight the check in staff arrive and change the desks over, nasty check in lady says anyone in the business queue who is not business will be sent to the back, a new desk opens up. Total chaos with people trying to move queues. The airport is nice other than that. Hardly any queues at security.
Very pleasant terminal, just one star less than expected, because of the P0 Express Parking, not enough exit points/terminals, therefore traffic jams, irritation... and the impossibility of leaving before the end of the fateful 10 minutes!
Small airport compared to other cities but remarkably efficient! Checking in there is so quick, it's clean and the luggage delivery service is great! Truly the best airport I have been to
